Job Title: Senior Manager: Communications

Departmental Mission: To lead and manage sound communications services within the Group.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager: Communications to lead our communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and maintaining a positive corporate image.

Minimum Requirements:

– A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations.

Added Advantage:

– Postgraduate NQF Level 8 Qualification.

– 8 years of experience in Communication, Stakeholder Management, or Public Relations, with at least 3 years of middle management or supervisory experience.

Desirable Experience:

– 2 years of experience in junior or middle management.

– 5 years of experience in Government communications across multiple spheres.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

1. Develop and maintain Communications frameworks.

2. Oversee corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.

3. Lead Communications operations.

4. Management of resources.

5. Provide management and general reports on communications matters.

6. Reporting and advisory services.
